The Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund (EAEF) is a private investment fund established by the U.S. Congress to support Egypt’s private sector. With original authorized capital of $300 million, EAEF has now invested $200 million in Egyptian businesses and fund managers and attracted an additional $400 million in foreign capital to Egypt’s private sector to date.

Join EAEF in its upcoming webinar to learn more about its investments in Egypt and its future plans. You will also hear from two of EAEF’s investees, Ashraf Sabry, Founder and CEO of Fawry, Egypt’s largest e-payments platform, and Magda Habib, Co-founder and CEO of Dawi, a leading chain of healthcare clinics.

This event will shed light into Egypt’s attractiveness as a global investment destination and is timely as governments around the world seek to leverage the private sector to advance key development priorities—an area in which enterprise funds can play a greater role.

Speakers:
• David Ignatius, Columnist, Washington Post
• James Harmon, Chairman, Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund
• Ashraf Sabry, Founder and CEO, Fawry
• Magda Habib, Co-founder and CEO, Dawi Clinics
